This nationally recognised High Voltage Functional Switching course is designed to provide personnel with the skills and knowledge required to perform single point isolation of electrical equipment for mechanical or production maintenance. The course covers the following topics:

Legislation and standards
Electrical hazards and risk management
High voltage hazards and risk management
Practical switching activities

This High Voltage Functional Switching course is designed for personnel working in fixed plant operations who may be required to perform single-point isolations for mechanical access. This includes:

Mechanical maintenance personnel
Electrical workers

HIGH VOLTAGE ISOLATION FOR ACCESS

Mechanical and electrical workers who are required to perform switching to a switching program should enrol in the nationally recognised High Voltage Isolation for Access course.

HIGH VOLTAGE SWITCHING OPERATIONS

Electrical workers who are required to write, check and/or authorise switching programs, perform switching, issue permits and coordinate switching and permit procedures should enrol in the nationally recognised High Voltage Switching Operations course.
