We are pleased to inform you that Verbrec Ltd. has recently entered into an agreement to sell the Site Skills Training operating facilities at Belmont, WA, and Gladstone, QLD, to Harness Training (Harness). Harness is a national award-winning Registered Training Organisation (RTO) that has been operating for close to 20 years from purpose-built training facilities including Australia and Papua New Guinea. Harness trains 15,000 students annually with more than 100 courses and qualifications available across medium to high-risk industries. (www.harnessenergy.com.au).
Harness will operate the two locations in Belmont and Gladstone from 6th November 2023.
This transition brings several changes for all parties involved. What does this mean for you?
1. Business Continuity: First and foremost, we want to emphasise that the Brisbane facilities in Northlakes and Salisbury, the Jandakot facility in Perth and our Adelaide operations, under the Competency Training brand, will continue to operate as usual. You can expect the same level of dedication to delivering high-quality training and services from the trainers and people that you have come to rely on from Site Skills Training and Competency Training.
Likewise, the Gladstone facility and the Belmont facility in Perth, will continue to deliver the same training services, enhanced by the award winning RTO of Harness.
2. Strategic Focus: The sale of Belmont and Gladstone facilities is part of a strategic decision by Verbrec to refocus on specific aspects of the training business, enabling us to better focus our expertise and service to our clients. Our unwavering commitment to quality training and services remains unchanged.
3. Industry Advancements: Harness Energy’s acquisition of the Belmont and Gladstone facilities presents opportunities for strategic investment that leverage their unique skills across training and people services to deliver their award-winning approach to benefit you.
