Define & classify the most common types of Base Materials used in the Oil & Gas Industries
Select appropriate materials for industrial applications
Understand major concepts in material selection
Explore the scope of work and important considerations of applicable codes, standards and specifications
Understand basic principle calculations in piping & pipeline components, such as wall thickness, rating, etc
Understand how fluids are classified as per ASME Codes
Identify safety requirements and safety aspects relating to a sound design and material selection in piping systems
Evaluate vendors offers for purchasing requisitions
