This intensive one-day course will provide design and operations engineers and project managers with an in-depth understanding of pipeline risk identification and safety management. We explore topics relating to assessing risk and managing safety, including the Pipeline Safety Management Process, requirements for a Safety Management Study, and the role of the SMS Workshop in this process.

Course Outline

Have a good understanding of the safety management requirements of AS2885
Be able to gather data and make assessments required as input to a pipeline safety management study
Participate in a safety management study for a new or existing pipeline or pipeline facility
Understand the role and responsibilities of facilitating an SMS workshop

There are no prerequisites for this course.
