Course Outline

The Electrical Incident Investigation course covers:

  • Working safely.
  • Gathering information from an incident site.
  • Interviewing witnesses.
  • Conducting site tests.
  • Gathering and arranging for analysis of forensic evidence.
  • Documenting findings.
  • Presenting evidence in court.

Who should attend?

The Electrical Incident Investigation course is designed for Electrical workers in supervisory roles who may be required to conduct investigation of an actual or near miss incident involving electricity.

Prerequisites

UEE30820 Certificate III in Electrotechnology or equivalent (e.g. electrical licence)
