Conduct a Conformity Assessment

POSTED: October 24 2016
Conduct a conformity assessment

This assessment only pathway covers the production of certification documentation of explosion-protected equipment. This competency is required when a certificate of conformity does not exist and the production of a conformity assessment document is required.

The applicant is required to provide evidence that demonstrates the following :

  • Skills and knowledge and ability to compare certification documents
  • Compare requirements of IEC or AS/NZS Standards with alternative standards on which the original certification was based
