From the start of 2014 we will be offering our electrical supervisor competency course to the public. We have previously delivered this one-day course to a number of blue chip clients in Western Australia, including BHP, Chevron and Rio Tinto and now will be offering it to the public from our office in Perth. If you are in or are working towards a supervisory position within the electrical industry this course is for you.
Many people think that if there is an electrical incident on site, the company is accountable but in actual fact you as the individual can be held accountable. The course will outline the accountability of you as a supervisor against relevant legislation and codes of practice, and will also cover the duties and responsibilities of an electrical supervisor, and will include detailed explanation of the requirements of the Mines Safety and Inspection Act and Regulations.
