Moving Onwards and Upwards in 2014?

If you are hoping for a promotion to a supervisory role in 2014, or if you are already in charge of a team, you should be thinking about professional development – both your own and that of your team. Our Competency Assurance team has developed and packaged a number of courses for business success. If you hire and fire, manage suppliers and contractors or just need to brush up on core skills like time management and safety in the workplace, we have a number of short courses that will help you and your team to work more effectively and be more productive.

We offer four levels of fully flexible training, from courses designed for employees of all levels to develop skills to effectively manage themselves and perform to their highest ability, to courses designed for the manager and executive level. As always, our course material can be fully tailored to address the unique needs of your business. An example course structure is provided further below.

Level 1 – Effective Workers

This suite of workshops enables employees at all levels to develop skills to effectively manage themselves and perform in their roles. The modules have been designed to develop skills and behaviours to increase the ability to perform effectively in the workplace and include some of the following areas:

  1. Communication Strategies
  2. Customer Service
  3. Interpersonal Skills
  4. Safety in the Workplace
  5. Time Management

Level 2 – Emerging Leaders

This suite of workshops is designed for individuals moving into or are new to management and leaderships roles. The modules will promote the development of professional skills incorporating key management development components including some of the following areas:

  1. Assertiveness and Self Confidence
  2. Delivering Constructive Criticism
  3. Performance Management
  4. Teamwork and Team Building
  5. Employee Motivation

Level 3 – Inspirational Managers

This suite of workshops is targeted at developing the knowledge, skills and behaviours for managing and developing others and managing the business. The modules are designed to promote effective and productive workplace environments, including some of the following areas:

  1. Change Management
  2. Coaching and Mentoring
  3. Middle Manager

Level 4 – Executive Excellence

This suite of workshops focusses on building strong leadership and thinking to drive business success and sustainability. The workshops focus on creating efficiency, planning and presentation of the business to all stakeholders and includes some of the following areas:

  1. Business Succession Planning
  2. Knowledge Management
  3. Leadership and Influence
