High Voltage Switching Gladstone

POSTED: October 28 2014

Already home to our hazardous areas training, we are now taking expressions of interest for our high voltage switching operations course in Gladstone.

Our 4 day HVSO course has recently been updated in line with industry procedures and workplace practices to allow students to experience both a ‘control room’ scenario as well as hands-on switching in the field. As part of their theoretical component, students will utilise a customised electronic and interactive network diagram to simulate the isolation and restoration of high voltage equipment.

The practical phase involves using a range of functioning and interconnected high voltage pieces of equipment, that provide real switching in a simulated and safe environment. Upon successful completion, eligible students will receive a nationally recognised statement of attainment.

To be notified when dates for Gladstone are finalised, please contact us.

Teacher was excellent, very knowledgeable, very personable, didn’t shut people down. Absolute 10/10. When training people to be an assessor he should be the model they learn how to be like.
