Funded Training Available Under the Career Boost – General Training Program

Competency Training is proud to offer funded places under the Career Boost – General Training Program, administered by the Department of Trade, Employment and Training.

Eligible students can complete the UEE40420 – Certificate IV in Electrical Instrumentation at a significantly reduced cost:

  • $560 for non-concession students
  • $290 for concession students

This funding supports upskilling for qualified electricians, helping you take the next step in your career in electrical instrumentation.

Are you eligible?

To access funding under the Career Boost – General Training Program, you must:

  • Be aged 15 years or older and no longer at school
  • Permanently reside in Queensland.
  • Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, Australian permanent resident, or humanitarian visa holder
  • Hold a Certificate III in Electrotechnology (or equivalent electrical trade qualification)
  • Not currently be enrolled in a Certificate IV or higher-level qualification

Concession Eligibility

You may be eligible for a concession rate if you:

  • Hold a Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Card (or are listed as a dependent/partner on one)
  • Are Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander
  • Have a disability
  • Are an adult prisoner
