Competency Training attended the Annual Australia India Address 2015 hosted by the Australia India Business Council last week in Brisbane. This annual event acknowledges business opportunities in the Indian Vocational Educational and Training sector for Australian organisations.
As India prepares to meet the combined challenges of scale, quality and employability within the VET sector, India seeks enormous growth in the Vocational Education and Training sectorwith a challenge to provide quality VET to more than 300 million youth by 2022.
The event showcased a keynote address from His Excellency Mr. Navdeep Suri (High Commissioner of India) followed by a speech from Hon. Simon John Birmingham (Minister of Education and Training) and concluded with a panel discussion between experts who have studied the Indian market and are currently operating in the market.
