Competency Training’s Competency Assurance team was recently awarded a contract with QGC to develop their High Voltage Access and Authorisation Training System (HVAATS), for their QCLNG Upstream Project, part of an integrated Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) project in Queensland making use of coal seam gas (CSG) obtained from the Surat Basin.
Competency Assurance will develop the HVAATS for QGC by implementing a customised Competency Assurance Management System (CAMS), to ensure employees are competent to carry out their roles safely and in-line with QGC’s operating requirements. The CAMS strategy will be used to identify and develop training requirements, deliver competency training and manage the ongoing competency levels of QGC’s HV staff. The Competency Assurance team provide instructional design services and project training requirements to both greenfield and brownfield operations.
