1.0 Competition Overview
1.1 This competition is conducted by Competency Training Ltd (ABN32 113 051 139) (“The Promoter”) and runs from 1st of December 2024 to 31st of January 2025 (the “Promotion Period”). During this period, participants can enter to receive a $100 gift card by enrolling into EEHA or HVSO courses.
2.0 How to Enter
2.1 Entrants will automatically receive a $100 gift card upon the completion of their training with Competency Training if they have booked a EEHA or HVSO course and completed the training between 1st of December 2024 and the 31st of January 2025.
2.2 Each completed enrolment counts as one entry, and multiple enrolments will result in multiple entries as long as the course is completed during the promotion period stated in these terms and conditions.
3.0 Conditions of Entry
3.1 By entering the promotion, participants agree to be bound by these General Terms and Conditions and any Special Terms and Conditions appearing on the website specific to the particular promotion.
3.2 To enter the Competency Training’s Promotion, entrants must enrol and purchase a EEHA or HVSO course and complete said course before the promotion close date.
3.3 If a refund is granted, either by request of the client or Competency Training, this automatically withdraws entrants into the competition. More than one entry can be made into the competition through purchasing and completing more than one course. Competency Training reserves the right to extend the competition closing date at its discretion and without notification.
3.4 All entries become the property of Competency Training. Entries not completed in accordance with the conditions of entry or received after the closing date will not be considered. Indecipherable or incomplete entries will be disregarded. No responsibility is taken for late or misdirected email.
4.0 Notification of Winners
4.1 Winners will be automatically admitted into the promotion once they book and enrol into a EEHA or HVSO course.
4.2 Winners will then have the opportunity to select which Gift Card they would like from what is available on the day from Super Cheap Auto, Rebel Sports, BCF, JB HiFi, or Bunnings Warehouse.
5.0 Prizes
5.1 The total prize pool does not contain a specific value and is fluid depending on the outcome of the promotion per facility location.
5.2 Specific details about the gift cards and their denominations will be provided at the time of winner notification.
5.3 Gift Cards can not be exchanged, transferred, or redeemed in cash or resale. In the event that a prize is unavailable, Competency Training reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. Prizes unclaimed after a period of one month from the date of notification of the winner may be forfeited and used by the Competency Training at the discretion of the Competency Training.
5.4 Prizes will be given to the participants on their last day of training.
5.5 No responsibility will be accepted by Competency Training for any lost Gift card on the day of completion of the course.
6.0 Duration
6.1 The competition runs from 1st of December 2024 to the 31st of January 2025.
7.0 Geographic Scope
7.1 The competition is open to Australian and New Zealand residents in all states and territories, where Competency Training delivers its courses.
7.2 Offer is valid for any Competency Training EEHA or HVSO face to face course in any location throughout Australia valued at more than $1900.
8.0 Eligibility
8.1 This competition is open to all Australian / New Zealand residents aged 18 years and over. Directors, employees, contractors, and their immediate family members of Competency Training are ineligible to participate.
8.2 Offer is not available to currently enrolled students.
8.3 The offer is not applicable to funded or already discounted courses.
8.4 Where a course was originally scheduled for December 2024 or January 2025, but is rescheduled by Competency Training, the student will still be entitled to the Gift Card once they complete the training at a later date.
9.0 Privacy
9.1 The details contained in your entry are protected by security safeguards as detailed in Competency Training’s Privacy Policy, which is also available on this website. The personal information collected as part of the entry is collected to enable identification of the winner and for future marketing and promotional purposes. Your personal information will only be disclosed to the Competency Training and its related bodies corporate for these purposes.
10.0 Liability
10.1 Competency Training makes no representations or warranties as to the quality, suitability or merchantability of any goods or services offered as prizes. To the extent permitted by law, Competency Training is not liable for any loss suffered to person or property by reason of any act or omission, deliberate or negligent, by Competency Training or its employees or agents, in connection with the arrangement for the supply, or the supply, of goods and services by any person to the prize winner and, where applicable, to any persons accompanying the prize winner. This clause does not affect any rights a consumer may have which are unable to be excluded under Australian law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, any liability of Competency Training or its employees or agents for breach of any such rights is limited to the payment of the costs of having the prize supplied again.
