COMPETENCY TRAINING CERTIFICATE IV QUALIFICATIONS

UEE42611 – CERTIFICATE IV IN HAZARDOUS AREAS – ELECTRICAL

This qualification provides competencies to supervise selection, installation, commissioning, maintenance and testing of explosion-protected equipment and systems for control and monitoring of plant and processes.

To get your Cert IV:

Step 1. Provide your Electrical Qualification.

Step 2. Enrol and successfully complete the EEHA – Installation and Maintenance or the EEHA – Installation and Maintenance refresher course.

Step 3. Complete the necessary RPL kit.

Step 4. Upon successful assessment of your  RPL submission, you will be issued a Certificate IV.

UEE40411 – CERTIFICATE IV IN ELECTRICAL – INSTRUMENTATION

This qualification provides introductory knowledge and skills in Instrumentation and Process Automation for qualified electricians. The qualification will cover the installing, commissioning, fault finding and maintenance of electrical and instrumentation systems and equipment.

Competency Training offers theoretical and practical training which will provide you with the competencies to help you to advance your career in the Process Automation industry.

To get your Cert IV:

Step1. Provide your Electrical Qualification.

Step 2. Complete the necessary RPL kit.

Step 3. Complete the instrumentation course at one of our training centres.

Step 4. Upon successful assessment of your  RPL submission, you will be issued a Certificate IV.

UEE43011 – CERTIFICATE IV IN ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT AND SYSTEMS

The Certificate IV in Electrical Equipment and Systems provides an electrician with skills in high voltage switching, testing and inspection of explosion – protected equipment in hazardous areas.

This package is made up of 19 core units along with a range of elective units of competency.

To get your Cert IV:

Step1. Provide your Electrical Qualification.

Step 2. Enrol and successfully complete both the EEHA – Installation and Maintenance  as well as the High Voltage Switching Operations course.

Step 3. Complete the necessary RPL kit.

Step 4. Upon successful assessment of your  RPL submission, you will be issued a Certificate IV.

UEE40611 – CERTIFICATE IV IN ELECTROTECHNOLOGY – SYSTEMS ELECTRICIAN

The Certificate IV in Electrotechnology – Systems Electrician is a Nationally recognized qualification which provides an electrician with competencies to select, install, commission, fault find, problem solve circuits and maintain electrical systems and equipment with options, typically in Explosion protection; Electrical machines; Electrical inspection; Safety auditing; Contracting; Energy supply/distribution. It includes ERAC requirements for an ‘Electrician’s licence’.

It is well suited to students employed in small businesses, seeking an allrounder Cert IV. This package is made up of 22 core units along with a combination of Elective competency standard units to achieve a total weighting of 320 points in accordance with the Elective Competency Standard Units.

Our courses are fast-tracked (10 days) to cater for your busy schedule and include a self-paced RPL Kit. You will undergo one on one practical training with industry experienced, qualified Instrumentation and Electrical Trainers and be exposed to hands-on practical experience.

To get your Cert IV:

Step1. Provide your Electrical Qualification, White Card and current CPR certificate.

Step 2. Enrol and successfully complete either the EEHA – Installation and Maintenance or High Voltage Switching Operations course.

Step 3. Complete your Electrical Contract Estimating Course.

Step 4. Complete your Programmable Logic Controller Course.

Step 5. Complete the necessary RPL kit.

Step 6. Upon successful assessment of your RPL submission, you will be issued a Certificate IV.
